Distribution Volunteer

Food banks provide three day emergency food parcels for people in crisis, working in partnership with organisations across the community.

This role involves provide direct support to people who use food banks. Packing their food parcels, making them feel comfortable and providing further signposting support where appropriate.

This role involves a fair amount of walking around the foodbank and the lifting of bags of food.

We are looking for 2 volunteers to join our existing Wednesday team rota for the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.
